Another Video Check-in

by Lori Albrough on February 5, 2012

We shot this video of Levi last weekend, on January 28th, as I wanted to show you how he is doing.

Although you can’t really tell, there was a snow storm raging outside as we shot this video. I could feel that this caused Levi to feel a bit tight in his body, but you can’t really see that in the video. He was a little concerned about the high winds we could hear gusting outside, and the snow drifting in around the door, but you really only see this once when we get down near the door as he lifts his head and looks kind of worried.

As everyone knows, when making videos it can be hard to capture the essence of the horse, but I think watching this we can all be really pleased with Levi. So without further ado, here is the video.

Let me know what you think in the comments!

Lovely, Lori, and still it’s impossible to me to fathom that this horse was headed for the scrap heap… I can see since the last video the balance he’s gained, and how he seeks through your contact to understand what you want. Clearly he trusts you and wants to please. He is going to make a wonderful partner for someone, and what a gift you have given, both to him and his owner!

lori, he is lovely. what a great save with him. i could see the tensing a bit when you first started, but he settled down pretty well. i don’t like riding when it’s windy, and i will sometimes get that same kind of tenseness with oz, but then again, it could be me causing it. i tell myself….they live outside in the wind. they are used to it….

well done.
